GREENSBORO, NC – WCOG Radio and the Greensboro Gargoyles are proud to announce a broadcast partnership that will make WCOG the official radio home of Gargoyles Hockey for the team’s upcoming inaugural ECHL season.
As part of the agreement reached by WCOG President Richard Miller, Zawyer Sports Owner Andy Kaufmann, and COO Scott Einhorn, WCOG will carry all 72 regular-season games of the Gargoyles’ 2025–26 season, along with potential postseason playoff action. Fans can tune in to follow every moment of the Gargoyles’ debut campaign with the team’s play-by-play voice, Casey Ditzel, on the call.
The partnership will also extend beyond game broadcasts, with WCOG hosting the Greensboro Gargoyles Coaches Show, giving fans exclusive access to the organization throughout the year. “This is an exciting moment for both WCOG and the Gargoyles as we bring professional hockey back to Greensboro,” said Ditzel. “Our team is proud to partner with WCOG and we are looking forward to delivering every game, every goal, and every save to our listeners.”
